  It’s a great pleasure for me to be here today and share my experience of learning English with you.

  [目的] I’m interested in English and hope to be an interpreter in the future, so it’s very important for me to learn English well. [方法]Since vocabulary is an essential part of language, just like bricks in a building, I usually memorize twenty new words a day and put them to use whenever possible.

  After class, not only do I listen to English programs on TV and on the radio but I’ve also learned a lot from the Internet and other sources.

  [建議]Now I’d like to make some suggestions on English teaching and learning in our school.

  Firstly, we should be given more opportunities to use what we’ve learned in order to have a better grasp of it.

  Secondly, I hope our teachers can recommend more interesting books and magazines and give us more free time to read them.

  Finally, I suggest we have more English activities, such as English contests and festivals.

  ① Welcome to our school. Now please allow me to introduce you to some of our school rules here.歡迎你們來(lái)到我們學(xué)校, 請(qǐng)讓我向你們介紹一下我校的一些規(guī)章制度。

  ② The topic of my speech today is “Thoughts on becoming a grown-up.”我今天發(fā)言的主題是“關(guān)于成為成年人的思考”。 ③ Welcome to this year’s English speech competition. I’m Li Hua. I feel greatly honored to host the contest, which is sponsored by the Students Union.歡迎來(lái)參加今年的英語(yǔ)演講比賽, 我是李華, 非常榮幸主持由學(xué)生會(huì)發(fā)起的這次比賽。

  ⑶ 列舉講話要點(diǎn)。常用first of all, secondly, finally等。 ⑷ 有時(shí)會(huì)加上一句總結(jié)性的話。如:

  ① I hope that the friendship between you and us will exist forever.我希望你和我們之間的友誼永存。 ② In a word, good listening can really enable you to get closer to each other.總之, 好好傾聽(tīng)會(huì)讓你們能夠彼此靠近。 ③ Only in this way can we become

  good listeners.只有這樣, 我們才可以成為良好的傾聽(tīng)者。

  3. 結(jié)束語(yǔ)有: That’s all. Thank you (for your listening)! 特別說(shuō)明: 高考中一般只要求考生寫(xiě)正文部分, 開(kāi)頭結(jié)尾等涉及格式的東西, 通常不要求考生寫(xiě)。

  In today’s world, mastering a foreign language will be helpful in our life. Here I’d like to share with you my method of English learning.[方法] First of all, I think it useful to learn some grammar and remember as many useful sentence patterns as I can.

  As we all know, the more we read, the better our English will be, so I spend much time reading English newspapers and magazines after class. Besides, TV and radio programmes are of great help for my listening. [收獲]Learning English not only increases my awareness of foreign cultures but also helps me to communicate with English’s peaking people and to make more new friends. [困難]However, sometimes I get discouraged because I keep forgetting words I have learned and I also find some English pronunciations rather confusing.

  I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice on how to learn English better.
