英語六級的高頻詞匯復習筆記

  1.random a. 隨意的

  詞義辨析:random, casual

  random: 指無明確的方向或目的、方法與系統,暗示沒有指揮或控制。

  casual: 指非正式的,輕松隨便的,強調隨和性。

  at random 隨便地, 任意地

  The librarian took a book at random from the shelf.

  圖書管理員從書架上隨便拿了一本書。

  2. reap v. 收獲=harvest

  reap crops 收獲農作物

  He that soweth virtue shall reap fame.

  播下美德,收獲名望。

  If you plant pride, you will reap destruction.

  3.reassure v. 使放心

  The police reassured her about the childs safety.

  4.reconcile v. 使和解

  詞義辨析:contradict, oppose, refute
